LW36-126/T3150-40 Outdoor HV AC SF6 Circuit Breaker is a kind of switching equipment with SF6 gas as insulating medium, which can close, load and interrupt the normal current of operation circuit in HV transmission line, and also can close, load and interrupt the short circuit and overload current in the specified time. Porcelain pillar type is adopted in the structure, which can be operated by three-phase opening, closing and automatic reclosing to realize the control and protection of transmission lines of 50HZ, 126KV and below.

The circuit breaker adopts the principle of self-energy arc extinguishing with spring mechanism. When the circuit breaker receives the opening instruction, the rigid components such as cylinder, moving arc contact and tie rod move downward under the action of the spring force of the opening. In the process of movement, the static main contact is separated from the main contact, and the current is transferred to the arc contact, then the arc contact is separated, and the arc is generated between the dynamic and static arc contacts. When short-circuit current is interrupted, the arc energy between arc contacts is large because of the high current value. The arc heat flow is injected into the thermal expansion chamber to exchange heat in the thermal expansion chamber and form low temperature and high pressure gas. At this time, the one-way valve in the arc extinguishing chamber closes because the pressure of the thermal expansion chamber is greater than that of the auxiliary pressure chamber. When the current is zero, the high-pressure gas in the thermal expansion chamber blows back to the fracture to extinguish the arc. When switching off small current (usually below several thousand amperes), because of the small arc energy, the pressure rise in the expansion chamber is slower than that in the auxiliary chamber. The one-way valve opens and the compressed gas in the auxiliary chamber enters the expansion chamber, which produces gas blowing and extinguishes the arc when the current passes zero.


Using self-energy arc extinguishing principle, the operation work is small and the impact is small.
